Job summary

Los Angeles Metro seeks a program-level leader to oversee the daily field operations of the Transit Ambassador Program, setting goals aligned with the collective bargaining agreement and developing deployment strategies based on safety priorities and service needs.

The role includes approving staffing, monitoring field performance, and ensuring incident response protocols are followed to maintain service quality and compliance across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Planning, Public Administration, Political Science or related field.
• Six years of relevant experience or three years of supervisory-level experience in project management, funding, or delivery.
• Valid California Class C Driver License or ability to utilize alternative transportation when needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations of the Transit Ambassador Program and set deployment strategies.
• Approve staffing and special event plans; monitor field performance and incident response.
• Ensure compliance with program policies, discipline and budget adherence, and timely reporting.
• Review contractor/supplier reports and manage relationships with stakeholders.
• Develop, manage, and administer all aspects of projects to ensure on-schedule, on-budget delivery.
• Address customer comments and hot spots, and maintain safety standards across shifts.
