Job summary

Tulare County Regional Transit Agency seeks a skilled professional to oversee operations across fixed routes, ADA paratransit, and demand response services in Visalia. You will help shape goals, policies, and schedules to ensure efficient service delivery and compliance with program requirements.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in public transportation operations, with the ability to analyze operations and implement improvements. Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4 years of experience in public transportation operations or related field.
• Equivalencies for Experience: additional education may substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staffing and operational activities for fixed route, ADA paratransit, and demand response operations.
• Participate in development and implementation of goals, objectives, policies, and priorities.
• Recommend and implement resulting policies and procedures.
• Ensure the most efficient and effective delivery of services.
• Establish schedules and methods for providing fixed route, ADA paratransit, and demand response operations.
