Job summary

HDR is seeking a highly motivated Transit and Rail Project Manager to support our growing markets in Virginia, Washington DC, and Maryland. You will manage capital design and construction projects from concept through completion, working with trackwork, stations, systems and fare collection.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Engineering, 7+ years in project management, PE license, and proficiency with MS Office and MS Project. Local candidates preferred; PMP is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 7 years related experience with at least 2 years PM experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• MS Office and MS Project experience required; Access experience a plus.
• PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage capital program engineering design and construction projects from conceptual design through completion.
• Coordinate work of professional staff and balance team throughout project development.
• Establish client relations and participate in marketing, contractual, design and production meetings.
• Track financials and ensure work is completed within schedule.
• Perform other duties as needed.
