Job summary

Access, Incorporated is looking for a part time Transit Driver to join our team in Hampton, VA. The role includes providing safe, timely transportation for community members from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. A CDL and passenger endorsement are required, along with DOT drug screening and background checks.

• CDL Class A, B or C is required.
• Passenger Endorsement is required.
• Medical Certification is required.
• Must pass background checks and DOT drug screening, and be physically able to assist passengers.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely and efficient transportation for community members.
• Drive routes independently and keep accurate records.
• Supervise and assist passengers in a courteous manner.
• Physically assist passengers when needed.

The Transit Driver has the general responsibilities of providing safe, timely and efficient transportation for members of our community. In this position you must be able to drive routes independently, keep accurate records, supervise and assist passengers in a courteous manner and at times you will need to physically assist passengers.
