Job summary

ROCS Transit in Viborg, SD seeks a Transit Driver for reliable, safe local service. The role covers routes Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, operating paratransit vans, mini-vans and buses, with emphasis on customer service and accessibility.

You will transport passengers, perform basic vehicle maintenance, assist passengers entering/exiting, ensure safety, maintain records, and participate in training sessions.

Qualifications

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
• Must have a good driving record and be able to assist passengers safely.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities are required.
• Background check via fingerprinting will be conducted for employment.

Responsibilities

Provide safe and efficient transportation for residents living in the local service area. ROCS Transit primarily operates between the hours of Monday - Friday, 8-4:30p. Vehicles primarily operated include paratransit vans, mini-vans, and buses.

Responsibilities
