Job summary

RATP Dev USA in Raleigh, NC seeks a Transit Driver (CDL preferred) to safely operate city and highway routes and deliver excellent customer service. You will assist passengers, including those with disabilities, and ensure safety per FMCSR.

Qualifications

• Front-line contact delivering quality customer service.
• Safely operates buses through city and freeway traffic.
• Assists passengers, including those with disabilities, as needed.
• Follows all federal, state, and local laws and safety rules.
• Completes pre-trip inspections and DVIR per FMCSR.
• Promotes safety and follows procedures to reduce accidents.
• Must be at least 21 years old and pass a DOT physical.
• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles safely to meet routes and schedules.
• Coordinate detours and incidents with dispatch.
• Collect fares and count passengers as required.
• Maintain professional conduct and assist customers.
• Report accidents or unusual incidents.
• Perform routine checks and basic maintenance if needed.
