Metro Bus in Saint Cloud is seeking a full-time Dispatcher (Union, extra board) to handle Fixed Route and Dial-a-Ride service, scheduling, and passenger information by phone, online or in person.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of dispatching, driver or customer service experience.
• Ability to deal tactfully with coworkers, subordinates, and the general public.
• Ability to speak and read English fluently; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide transit information and customer service for Fixed Route and Dial-a-Ride passengers.
• Operate two-way radio to communicate with Operators and support staff.
• Schedule rides and manage dispatch within operator shifts using scheduling software.
• Document customer comments and notify the Operations Manager of scheduling issues.
• Maintain professional interactions with customers and coworkers, and follow safety guidelines.
