Bullhead Area Transit is seeking a dispatcher/clerical assistant to support daily transit operations in Bullhead City, AZ. Responsibilities include radio dispatching, phone support, scheduling Dial-A-Ride trips, and processing deposits and reports.
The role requires a high school diploma or GED, plus one year of clerical public-facing experience. A valid driver's license is required to maintain operations and safety compliance.
Responsible for receiving and dispatching radio calls, answering multi-line phones, routing transit vehicles, preparing daily deposits, monitoring vehicle status; and performing routine clerical duties. May require transporting passengers on a demand responsive public transportation system. Requires non-standard or rotating shift work, including weekends and may be subject to call back. NOTE: This is a safety-sensitive position subject to the required testing policy per the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). The incumbent is required to fully comply with all operational safety rules and regulations established by Bullhead Area Transit.
High School Diploma or General Education Development (G.E.D.) and one year of clerical experience providing services to the general public; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
