Job summary

Hopelink is hiring a Public Transportation Dispatcher in Kent, WA. The role starts with training at the Hopelink Transportation Yard, then shifts and location will be determined after training.

The dispatcher maintains radio contact, records trip information, and schedules trips while collaborating with other dispatchers in a team setting. The ideal candidate has customer service experience, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to learn Hopelink scheduling software.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office 365, MS Outlook, and online timekeeping and scheduling systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite such as Windows and Excel.
• Scheduling/dispatching experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide superior customer service to bus operators and passengers via radio, phone, or in person.
• Ensure driver and dispatcher coverage for scheduled and unscheduled time off.
• Prepare reports using dispatching and scheduling software and Excel.
