Built for the Badge is seeking a Transportation staff member at the second level in the Transportation series. The role involves monitoring and documenting the operation of transit vehicles, and providing information to the public about services.

Responsibilities may include operating a two-way radio, documenting routes and schedules, selling bus passes, issuing photo IDs, opening and closing the transit center, and preparing daily logs and activity reports.

GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB

This is the second of six levels in the Transportation series. Incumbents monitor and document information regarding the operation of transit vehicles and provide information to the public regarding transportation services. Responsibilities may include operating a two-way radio to give and receive information regarding bus routes, schedules, road closures, etc.; documenting information regarding routes, schedules, and related issues; providing information to the public regarding transportation services; selling bus passes and making photo I.D.'s; opening and closing the transit center; and preparing daily logs and activity reports.

PLEASE NOTE: THIS POSITION IS ONLY OPEN TO CURRENT CITY OF CLARKSVILLE TRANSIT EMPLOYEES WHO HAVE BEEN IN THEIR CURRENT POSITION FOR AT LEAST SIX MONTHS. NO OTHER APPLICATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED. MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK NIGHTS AND WEEKENDS
