Job summary

City of Greenville's Greenlink is seeking a Transit Dispatcher to monitor and coordinate daily fixed route and paratransit operations. You will dispatch, monitor AVL data, adjust schedules, and provide frontline customer service, ensuring safe and timely service throughout the day.

You will handle radio communications, support station operations, reconcile end-of-day transactions, and assist with safety reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Over one year of experience in transit operations, dispatch, customer service, or a related field.
• Experience using CAD and AVL technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide radio dispatch and fleet monitoring for fixed route and paratransit services.
• Coordinate daily schedules and shift management to align with policies and laws.
• Provide paratransit scheduling and dispatch support, including appointment booking and trip reminders.
• Provide administrative support including open/close procedures, reporting, and cash handling.
• Provide relief customer service at GTA Terminal as needed.
