Job summary

A leading transportation provider in Sioux Falls is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on various vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, knowledge of vehicle systems, and the ability to work on their feet for long hours. A valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a CDL permit are required. This position offers a salary range of $31.52 - $34.15 per hour, along with comprehensive benefits including healthcare and a retirement plan.

Qualifications

• Possess knowledge of design, maintenance, and repair of heavy and light-duty vehicles.
• Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
• Hold a valid SD driver’s license and able to obtain a CDL permit.

Responsibilities

• Direct operations related to vehicle and equipment service.
• Repair and/or replace subsystems associated with SAM coaches.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors.

Skills

Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
