Transdev North America, Inc. is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to maintain transit vehicles at our Philadelphia area facilities. Starting pay is $29.99 per hour with progression to $32.74 per hour over one year, under the union payscale.

The role includes health benefits, retirement plans, paid time off, and training reimbursements. Responsibilities include diagnostics, routine maintenance, safety inspections, and collaboration with the shop team to ensure timely repairs.

Competenze

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Automotive maintenance experience required.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• DOT drug testing and physical may be required.
• CDL Class A/B with pax Endorsement preferred; training provided.

Mansioni

• Perform transit vehicle maintenance in compliance with company standards.
• Conduct diagnostic tests to identify issues and determine necessary repairs on transit vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate repairs.
• Complete preventative maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
• Read and interpret safety documents, blue-prints, schematics, and other mechanical diagrams.
