Job summary

City of Conroe seeks a Transit Coordinator - Data Analyst to perform administrative and analytical duties for the Transportation Department. The role collects, aggregates and interprets fare type, passenger types, vehicle miles and hours to identify trends and support efficiency improvements.

This position works with considerable independence within established procedures and policies, while managing operations within the department's budget plan. Starting salary provided below.

Qualifications

• Requires a four-year degree and/or four years of related experience.
• Two years of municipal/state/federal transit experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively and present to groups.

Responsibilities

• Collect, aggregate and interpret program data (fare type, passenger types, vehicle miles and hours).
• Identify trends and provide recommendations for efficiency and program sustainability.
• Work independently within established procedures, City policies, and budget constraints.
