Job summary

PSTA is seeking a Customer Service Representative to provide accurate information and exceptional service about programs, routes, and policies. The role involves handling calls and in-person inquiries at Customer Service Centers, processing fare products, and ensuring a positive customer experience across Pinellas County.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least one year of related experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in customer service, receptionist, or related clerical work with high public contact.
• Call center experience is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones and provide detailed information about PSTA services and routes.
• Process and sell Flamingo fare cards and related discounted fare products.
• Handle transactions accurately using POS systems and cash handling.
• Provide up-to-date route and schedule information and assist with Mobility on Demand info.
• Document and route complaints to appropriate departments.
• Cover Front Desk duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
