Job summary

HDR in Bellevue, WA seeks a Transit Construction Program Manager to lead multi‑discipline infrastructure programs with substantial capital value. You will guide governance, risk, scheduling, and delivery across HDR teams and client partners to ensure safe, compliant, and on‑budget outcomes.

You will advise clients on technical and regulatory aspects, help shape planning, and monitor performance while contributing to HDR's collaborative, owner‑employee culture and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Sciences, Business Administration or closely related field.
• Professional engineering license or PMP/PgMP/AICP/CCM certification.
• Six years of program management experience with at least four years as PM or similar.
• Experience delivering two or more programs with a total capital value >= $350 million.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to manage diverse teams.
• Experience with DB/DBFOM/CMAR delivery methods and alternative models.
• Familiar with PMIS, CMIS, scheduling, cost control, risk management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary infrastructure programs with high technical complexity.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, financial, and community aspects.
• Plan, direct, and monitor program execution across many disciplines.
• Identify risks and deploy resources for mitigation and decision making.
• Develop plans and tools to drive efficiency, accountability and transparency.
• Direct HDR and subconsultant teams; ensure contract compliance.
