Job summary

Davidson Transit Organization (DTO), the employment unit of WeGo Public Transit, seeks a Bus Operator to drive transit buses in Nashville with safety and reliability. You will follow all policies, provide excellent service, and adapt to changing conditions on the job.

The role is full-time with pay at $27.03/hour, sign-on bonuses for CDL-ready applicants, and benefits like health, vision, dental, pension, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication and professional demeanor.
• Able to work a varied schedule including days, nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Stable work history with good attendance and punctuality.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a TN driver’s license and meet CDL training requirements.
• Must pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background checks.
