Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must possess a valid Texas Class B CDL with Passenger and Air Brake Endorsements.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years driving history required.
• Clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Operate transit and support vehicles in revenue and non-revenue service.
• Develop and maintain defensive driving skills to prevent accidents.
• Maintain an established schedule along a designated route.
• Ensure passenger safety and perform safety inspections.
• Collect fares as outlined by policy.
• Provide information to customers regarding fares, services, schedules and rules.
• Assist customers with boarding and exiting and secure safety devices.
• Communicate with dispatch to ensure safe and timely arrivals/departures.
• Complete documentation and incident reports.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness during service.
