Job summary

WSP seeks an Associate Consultant, Architect for our New York City office to contribute to Transportation Facilities Group projects. You will work under a senior architect on designs for rail/bus stations, airports, and related facilities in a dynamic regional portfolio.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of post-education experience, strong CAD skills, and knowledge of NY/ NYC codes, with the ability to multi-task across several projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture or BA/BS in Architecture with a Masters in Architecture.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant post-education experience in transportation projects preferred.
• Understanding of NY State and NYC Building Codes.
• Knowledge of construction drawing standards and architectural tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural drawings, specifications, renderings, and presentation boards.
• Ensure code compliance for new construction and renovations of transportation facilities.
• Perform local/regional site inspections and project investigations.
• Attend meetings and coordinate projects with stakeholders.
• Uphold company safety policies and conduct.
