Job summary

WSP is seeking an Associate Consultant, Architect for our New York City office. You will contribute to Transportation Facilities Group projects including stations, hubs, and campuses, working under a senior architect.

The role involves creating drawings and specs, ensuring code compliance, and coordinating with teams. A degree in architecture with 1–3 years of experience and the ability to work in the U.S. are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Architecture or BA/BS in Architecture with a Masters in Architecture.
• 1–3 years post-education experience; transportation experience a plus.
• Knowledge of NY/ NYC Building Codes and construction drawing standards.
• Ability to work in the United States immediately.

Responsibilities

• Develop architectural drawings and specifications including renderings and boards.
• Ensure code compliance for new construction and renovations.
• Perform local/regional site inspections.
• Attend meetings and coordinate projects.
• Uphold safety and ethical conduct per company policies.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
