Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon in Decatur, TN is hiring a Full-Service Technician to manage the stacking process for a rewind transformer. You will use calipers and tape measures to create precise measurements used in the rewind process, and work with a range of hand tools to complete stacking of core steel.

Responsibilities include cutting transformer lids, maintaining safety with protective equipment, and potentially operating an overhead crane or forklift.

• Mechanical and electrical knowledge required.
• Wiring experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Using a caliper and tape measure to create precise measurements for the rewind process.
• Using hand tools to stack core steel.
• Cutting transformer lids.
• Wearing proper protective equipment and following safety protocols when handling core steel.
• May operate overhead crane or forklift as necessary.
• Stand for 8-10 hours a day and perform repetitive tasks.
• Cross train on setup and teardown as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
