A prominent power solutions company in California is looking for a Production Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes for transformer production. The role includes supporting production, analyzing workflow, and implementing improvements to ensure safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in engineering, have 3–5 years of experience in transformer manufacturing, and exhibit strong problem-solving skills. Qualifications
3–5 years of engineering experience in transformer manufacturing or heavy electrical equipment preferred.
Hands-on experience with coil winding, insulation design, core assembly, or testing strongly desired.
Knowledge of IEEE/ANSI/IEC transformer standards.
Responsibilities
Support day to day production of transformer components.
Analyze workflow bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
Standardize work instructions, SOPs, and production documentation.
Improve layout and material flow.
Provide engineering support to resolve manufacturing issues.
Lead root-cause analysis and corrective action plans.
Ensure production processes align with industry standards.
Partner with quality to investigate defects.
