Job summary

Sunbelt Solomon is seeking a Field Service Technician to inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain low-, medium-, and high-voltage equipment across North America. You’ll work hands-on with transformers, breakers, switchgear, and relays, delivering exceptional service in the field for utilities and industrial customers.

The role emphasizes safety, communication, and timely documentation, with travel to local and regional sites, occasional overnight assignments, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical training or associate degree in electrical trades preferred.
• NETA certification preferred; will substitute 3+ years of relevant work experience on commercial or industrial electrical projects
• Strong reading of one-line diagrams and control schematics

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain low-, medium-, and high-voltage equipment.
• Perform electrical testing on transformers, breakers, switchgear, relays, and related equipment.
• Respond to customer needs, including occasional emergency calls with professionalism and urgency.
• Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation.
• Travel locally and regionally, with periodic overnight assignments.
