Intermountain Electronics, Inc. in Price, Utah is seeking a Transformer Design Engineer to take transformer projects from customer requirements through manufacturing, testing, and field support.

You will create electrical designs, prepare quotations, and coordinate with production teams to deliver reliable transformer solutions. The role emphasizes collaboration with customers, application engineers, and fabrication teams, plus hands-on problem solving to meet quality and performance goals.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field and hands-on experience with three-phase 480V+ is preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
• Strong ability to develop transformer designs, wiring configurations, and troubleshooting solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate customer plans and specifications to establish transformer project requirements.
• Recommend transformer configurations and opportunities to incorporate IE products.
• Prepare accurate transformer quotations and enter information into Epicor.
• Develop electrical designs that meet project requirements and obtain approvals.
• Create detailed transformer component drawings from design information.
