Job summary

Intermountain Electronics, Inc. seeks a Transformer Design Engineer to develop quotes, electrical designs, and manufacturing documentation for transformer projects in Price, Utah.

You will work with customers, application engineers, procurement, and production teams to ensure designs meet requirements and are manufacturable. The role requires strong electrical engineering knowledge, hands-on manufacturing experience, and the ability to translate complex requirements into reliable transformer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 2+ years hands-on experience.
• Experience with 480V+ three-phase voltages and related design tasks.
• Ability to translate engineering requirements into manufacturable documentation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate customer requirements and establish transformer project requirements.
• Prepare transformer quotations for IE engineers and customers.
• Develop electrical designs that meet project requirements and coordinate with customers and teams.
• Design transformer components and create detailed AutoCAD drawings.
• Coordinate fabrication, BOMs, and procurement after review with management.
• Assist with production and resolve engineering or design-related issues.
