Job summary

Paylocity is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design transformers up to full production, reviewing specifications and coordinating moves to production. You will develop and analyze drawings, perform calculations, and support testing to ensure reliable designs.

Qualifications

• 0-5 years’ experience in design/engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design transformers through electrical and mechanical interpretation of specifications.
• Prepare electrical and mechanical drawings and support testing.
• Create BOMs and assist purchasing of transformer parts.
• Support production with technical issues and design revisions.
• Lead/prep customer submittal packages and pre-production builds.
