Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated in Reading, PA, is seeking skilled coil winding and assembly workers to build windings for transformer/PVT coils per engineering specs. You will operate winding machines, read specifications, and work with teammates to maintain quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Read, use and understand measuring devices.
• Be punctual, reliable and have a good work ethic.
• Must be able to work well with others and foster teamwork.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
• Experience working with hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in assuring the quality of workmanship and safe operation of equipment; guide and train co-workers.
• Assure that all products meet the highest standard of quality.
• Read and interpret specification sheets with Engineering assistance.
• Utilize soldering and brazing techniques.
• Set up machines in accordance with technical and safety specifications.
• Capable of winding a variety of transformer and PVT coils.
• Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency.
