Job summary

Hyosung HICO, Ltd. in Memphis, TN, seeks an Associate Manufacturing Technician to perform mechanical assembly, disassembly and installation tasks for power transformers.

The role involves hands-on use of hand and power tools, measurement and quality verification, and strict adherence to safety and TPM/6S practices. The ideal candidate will have a two-year associate degree in electrical or related field, plus experience in testing/utilities, and strong written/verbal communication and math skills

Qualifications

• Two-year associate degree in electrical or related field plus minimum one year experience in testing or utilities.
• Multiple years’ experience as electrician or service technician (high voltage equipment and/or utility industry preferred).
• Developed written and verbal communication skills; math and electrical engineering skills.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble parts per specifications and work instructions.
• Operate measuring tools and calibrate parts to tolerances.
• Identify, document and verify quality criteria during manufacturing.
• Follow safety procedures and 6S standards; TPM tasks as directed.
