Job summary

Hyosung HICO, Ltd. in Memphis, TN, seeks an Associate Manufacturing Technician to perform mechanical assembly, disassembly and installation tasks for manufacturing power transformers.

You will load/unload machinery, align assemblies, and verify quality against specifications. The role requires a two-year degree in electrical/technical field and relevant experience, with strong measurement and wiring skills.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate degree in electrical field or related, plus related experience.
• Experience as electrician or service technician with high voltage preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication and basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing tasks including loading/unloading and operation of non-CNC equipment; glue, clamp, paint, coat, test and oil fill.
• Assemble/disassemble parts; align and fasten to final product using hand/power tools.
• Measure parts with scales, calipers and micrometers; document quality criteria.
• Follow prints and bills of material to determine correct components.
• Connect, crimp, solder and braze internal leads and wiring per specs.
