Job summary

Hyosung HICO, Ltd. in Memphis, TN is seeking an Associate Manufacturing Technician to perform mechanical assembly, disassembly, and installation tasks related to power transformers.

The role emphasizes operation of non-CNC equipment, measurement, and quality documentation. Candidates should have a two-year associate degree in electrical or related technical field and relevant hands-on experience; electrician/service technician background is preferred.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate’s degree in electrical or related field and at least one year of relevant experience.
• Experience as electrician or service technician preferred for high voltage equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read mechanical/electrical drawings and schematics.
• Proficient with inspection tools and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly, disassembly, and installation tasks for power transformers.
• Operate non-CNC equipment and basic testing/verification per specs.
• Measure parts with calipers, scales, and micrometers; document results.
• Follow safety rules and standard work procedures to ensure quality and productivity.
• Support TPM and 6S practices; assist supervisor as needed.
