Zusammenfassung

The YMCA is seeking an energetic Personal Trainer to work with members, helping them achieve health and wellness goals in a welcoming, inclusive environment. You will provide high quality personal training, excellent customer service, and up-to-date program knowledge on the wellness floor and Family Center.

You will recruit and retain clients, maintain confidentiality, design tailored programs, motivate behavior change, and stay current with fitness trends while building authentic relationships

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR, First Aid, AED Certification preferred prior to hire. Must obtain within 60 days of hire.
• Certified Personal Training Certification and/or approved specialized certification required from ACSM, NASM, NSCA, ACE, WITS, ISSA, NPTI, NETA or a 4-year degree in Exercise Science/Kinesiology.

Aufgaben

• Actively recruits and retains personal training clients.
• Maintain confidentiality of member information.
• Ensure payments for members are processed through member services.
• Designs programs tailored to individual member health and wellness objectives and documents progress.
• Coach and motivate members to support behavior change.
• Keep up-to-date on fitness/health trends to provide accurate information.
