Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, seeks a dedicated special education teacher to support K-12 students with diverse needs.

You will collaborate with school teams to deliver SESI’s evidence-based learning models and develop individualized lesson plans in smaller class settings. Responsibilities include implementing behavior support and crisis management, maintaining IEPs and BIPs, tracking student progress, and ensuring student safety throughout the day.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid teaching credential appropriate to the role.
• Commitment to learning and implementing feedback.
• Adaptability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Teach diverse students using SESI’s instructional models and curricula to meet needs.
• Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Implement behaviour management and intervention strategies.
• Maintain student documents such as IEPs, BIPs, incident reports, and high-risk evaluation forms.
• Drive, record, and track student growth toward goals.
• Supervise and monitor students within the school.
