Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a dedicated special education teacher to diagnose and address learning, social, and emotional skill gaps.

You will collaborate with school teams and families, delivering SESI’s evidence-based models and CASE framework to support students’ growth and well-being. You’ll lead individualized lesson plans, implement behavior strategies, and document IEPs and related forms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid teaching credential appropriate to the role.
• Commitment to learning and implementing feedback.
• Adaptability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Use SESI’s instructional models, strategies, and curricula to teach knowledge and skills.
• Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Implement behavior management and intervention strategies to maintain safety.
• Maintain student documents such as IEPs, BIPs, incident reports, and high‑risk evaluation forms.
• Drive, record, and track student growth toward goals.
• Supervise and monitor students within the school.
