SESI offers smaller class sizes and a robust benefits package. As a Special Education Teacher you will diagnose and address learning, social, and emotional skill gaps, collaborate with school teams and families, and deliver SESI’s evidence-based learning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid teaching credential appropriate to the role.
• Commitment to learning and implementing feedback.
• Adaptability and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Use SESI’s instructional models and curricula to teach knowledge and skills.
• Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Implement behavior management and intervention strategies, including de-escalation and safety measures.
• Maintain IEPs, BIPs, incident reports, and high-risk evaluation forms.
• Drive, record, and track student growth toward goals.
• Supervise and monitor students during movement within the school.
