Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a dedicated special education teacher to support K-12 students with diverse needs.

You will diagnose and address learning, social, and emotional skill gaps, collaborating with school teams and families to deliver SESI’s evidence-based instruction and PBIS framework. You will develop individualized lesson plans, implement behavior strategies, and maintain essential student documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (required).
• Valid teaching credential appropriate to the role (required).

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Use SESI’s instructional models and PBIS framework to teach and support students with special needs.
• Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Implement behavior management and intervention strategies to maintain safety.
• Maintain student documents such as IEPs, BIPs, incident reports, and high-risk evaluation forms.
• Drive, record, and track student growth toward academic, social, and emotional goals.
• Supervise and monitor students within the school environment.
