Qualifications

• Decision making skills are significant to the job.
• Must possess good moral character and demonstrate leadership qualities.
• Must be skilled in word processing, databases, IEP software, office equipment, and presentation software.
• Must have a valid state vehicle operator's license and good driving record.
• Must complete and maintain background and criminal record checks.

Responsibilities

• Assists in coordinating and implementing all school functions.
• Plans and designs the whole instructional program.
• Oversees special education services and building IEPs.
• Maintains regular communication with parents, staff, and students.
• Provides leadership in supervision and evaluation of school personnel.
• Develops and maintains a positive school climate.
• Attends district meetings and participates in events.
• Oversees recruitment, selection, and assignment of personnel.
• Plans and presents professional development for staff.
• Supervises extracurricular activities and student discipline.
• Manages purchasing of supplies and school operations.
• Collaborates with staff, community, agencies, and parents for student support.
