Intrepid College Prep in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a dedicated teacher to join our two-campus network. You will deliver rigorous, college-preparatory lessons, plan unit and daily plans, and differentiate instruction for diverse learners.

Candidates should hold Tennessee certification in the appropriate content area, a BA/BS with a 2.5+ GPA, and ideally two years of urban or charter-school teaching experience. Starting salary is $53,000 with a competitive salary scale and health benefits.

Qualifications

• Tennessee Certification in the appropriate content area.
• Takes two years teaching experience preferred in urban public or charter schools.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Internalize and implement the rigorous college-preparatory curriculum, including daily lesson plans and unit plans.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure academic growth for EL students and students with disabilities.
• Utilize structured planning time and professional development opportunities to plan high-quality lessons.
• Engage in a community where teaching is public, including classroom visits and feedback cycles.
• Share teaching strategies, observe peers, and analyze data to develop best practices.
• Uphold a school culture of consistency and high expectations through systems and procedures.
• Participate in after-school programs and limited community outreach as needed.
• Perform other school duties as assigned
