Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Valid state teaching license/certification (Tennessee or Mississippi).
• Strong ability to navigate instructional technology and data systems.
• Design and deliver instruction using a variety of digital tools and learning platforms.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver standards-aligned instruction in math for middle school.
• Serve as content and grade-level expert grounding instruction in standards.
• Set ambitious goals, monitor progress, and provide actionable feedback.
• Analyze student data and collaborate on growth plans when needed.
• Build relationships with scholars and families through proactive communication.
• Create a safe, inclusive classroom environment supporting all development.
• Meet deadlines for lesson planning, grading, and student work analysis.
• Collaborate with teachers and leaders to uphold high expectations.
