STEM Preparatory Academy in Nashville, Tennessee is seeking a certified middle school mathematician for grades 5–8 for the 26-27 school year. The full-time, in-person, 10-month position starts at $56,291 (Bachelor’s Step 0) with salary progression based on experience and education.

The role includes a robust onboarding plan, signing bonus, dedicated coaching, and performance bonuses linked to TVAAS levels, with additional longevity stipends and benefits through MNPS/TCRS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and teaching credential/permit as needed.
• Authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Must pass MNPS background check.
• Active Tennessee teaching license preferred.

Responsabilités

• Teach 3 of 4 Math classes daily in a 90-minute A/B block schedule.
• Plan using adopted curricula and submit weekly lesson plan arcs.
• Collaborate in daily planning, coaching, and PLC meetings.
• Track student progress and submit timely grades.
• Lead an intervention math/ELA block and utilize learning tech.
