RePublic Schools in Nashville is seeking a Middle School Math Teacher to design and deliver rigorous, standards-aligned math instruction in a 1:1 blended learning environment. You will act as a content expert, monitor progress, and provide constructive feedback to students and families.

You will collaborate with a team of teachers and leaders to set ambitious goals, maintain high expectations, and support students’ social and emotional development in a safe, inclusive classroom.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Valid state teaching license/certification (Tennessee or Mississippi), or a commitment to enroll in an approved alternative certification program upon hire.
• Strong ability to navigate instructional technology and data systems.
• Ability to design and deliver instruction using a variety of digital tools and learning platforms.
• Openness to giving and receiving frequent, actionable feedback as part of a continuous improvement culture.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and emotional composure in high-pressure situations.
• A demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning, growth, and professional development

Responsibilities

• Designing and delivering rigorous, standards-aligned instruction in your content area within 1:1 blended learning environments.
• Serving as a content and grade-level expert, grounding instruction in deep standards mastery.
• Setting ambitious academic goals with scholars, closely monitoring progress, and providing actionable feedback.
• Analyzing student data and partnering with school leadership to develop growth plans when needed.
• Building strong relationships with scholars and families through proactive communication.
• Creating a safe, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Meeting deadlines for lesson planning, grading, and analysis of student work samples.
• Collaborating with a team of teachers and leaders to ensure consistency and high expectations.
• Participating in coaching cycles with the Academics Team and leadership to improve practice.
• Performing additional duties as assigned to support school and scholar success
