You will establish a safe, supportive learning environment, assess learners, differentiate instruction, and integrate technology to help students meet goals and progress toward further education and employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality ESL instruction aligned to state and district goals.
• Teach ESL to adult learners across varied skill levels.
• Administer CASAS assessments and apply results to instruction.
• Create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment.
• Incorporate educational technology to support learning.
• Develop daily lesson plans with differentiated strategies.
• Analyze real-time data to monitor student progress.
• Communicate progress to students and administration.
• Build positive relationships with students, peers, and the community.
• Follow supervisor policies and perform other duties as assigned.
