Job summary

Monzo Bank Limited is seeking a Transfer Pricing Manager to own end-to-end TP operations, policies and documentation within the Group Tax squad. You will report to the International Tax & Transfer Pricing Lead and drive master/local files, CbCR and intercompany pricing design across jurisdictions.

The role partners with Legal, Finance and Product teams, champions TP policy updates, and acts as a key contact for tax authority inquiries and audits globally.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) and/or tax advisor (CTA/ADIT or equivalent).
• Strong technical background in transfer pricing.
• Proactive, hands-on and able to translate TP concepts for non-tax stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Transfer Pricing Documentation: Master Files, Local Files and CbCR across jurisdictions.
• Design and implement intercompany pricing policies to support growth and expansion.
• Coordinate intercompany agreements; ensure TP calculations reflect economics.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance and Treasury on TP projects and cross-border structuring.
• Be the primary contact for tax authority inquiries and audits related to TP.
• Provide pragmatic TP advice to Business, Finance and Product teams.

As a Transfer Pricing Manager within the Group Tax squad, you will report directly to the International Tax & Transfer Pricing Lead, taking end-to-end ownership of Monzo's transfer pricing operations, policies, and documentation.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Transfer Pricing Documentation: Leading the preparation, maintenance, and ongoing updates of Master Files, Local Files, and Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR) across all operating jurisdictions.
• TP Policy Design & Implementation: Assisting in designing, implementing, and updating intercompany pricing policies to support business growth, new product launches, and international expansion.
• Intercompany Agreements & Operational TP: Collaborating with Legal, Finance, and Treasury to ensure intercompany agreements match economic realities and operational transfer pricing calculations/adjustments are executed accurately.
• Expansion & Cross-Functional Projects: Partnering closely with the International Tax Manager and International Tax & Transfer Pricing Lead on key group projects, European expansion initiatives, and cross-border structuring.
• Audit & Defense: Serving as a key point of contact for tax authority enquiries and audits relating to transfer pricing matters globally.
• Cross-Functional Advisory: Providing clear, pragmatic transfer pricing advice to internal stakeholders across Business, Finance, and Product teams.

Requirements

• You hold a professional qualification: Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) and/or tax advisor (CTA/ADIT or equivalent).
• You have a strong technical background in transfer pricing. Candidates making their first move directly from professional practice (Big 4 / Top 10 / specialist TP firms) are strongly encouraged to apply, as are those with existing in-house experience.
• You are Proactive, have a hands-on mindset with the ability to operate autonomously and translate complex transfer pricing concepts for non-tax stakeholders.
