Job summary

Monzo is seeking a Transfer Pricing Manager to own end-to-end TP operations, policies and documentation. You will report to the International Tax & Transfer Pricing Lead and partner with Legal, Finance and Treasury across multiple jurisdictions.

Ideal candidates hold ACA/ACCA or CTA/ADIT and bring a strong TP background, with in-house or Big 4 experience, and a hands-on, autonomous mindset for a fast-paced fintech setting.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) and/or tax advisor (CTA/ADIT or equivalent).
• Strong technical background in transfer pricing; Big 4/top firm or in-house experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Lead TP documentation: Master Files, Local Files, and CbCR for multiple jurisdictions.
• Design, implement, and maintain intercompany pricing policies to support growth and expansion.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance and Treasury to ensure agreements match economics and TP calculations.
• Partner with International Tax Manager on group projects and cross-border structuring.
• Act as a key contact for tax authority inquiries and audits related to TP matters.
• Provide clear TP advice to internal stakeholders across Business, Finance and Product teams.

Our Tax team

Join Monzo, a leading UK bank that is innovating the financial sector by offering an array of diverse and differentiated banking services. As a Transfer Pricing Manager within the Group Tax squad, you will report directly to the International Tax & Transfer Pricing Lead, taking end-to-end ownership of Monzo’s transfer pricing operations, policies, and documentation.
This role is ideal for a qualified accountant or tax advisor looking to make a significant impact in a fast-paced fintech environment. We welcome candidates making their first move out of practice, as well as those with previous in-house experience.

You’ll play a key role by...

• Transfer Pricing Documentation: Leading the preparation, maintenance, and ongoing updates of Master Files, Local Files, and Country-by-Country Reporting (CbCR) across all operating jurisdictions.
• TP Policy Design & Implementation: Assisting in designing, implementing, and updating intercompany pricing policies to support business growth, new product launches, and international expansion.
• Intercompany Agreements & Operational TP: Collaborating with Legal, Finance, and Treasury to ensure intercompany agreements match economic realities and operational transfer pricing calculations/adjustments are executed accurately.
• Expansion & Cross-Functional Projects: Partnering closely with the International Tax Manager and International Tax & Transfer Pricing Lead on key group projects, European expansion initiatives, and cross-border structuring.
• Audit & Defense: Serving as a key point of contact for tax authority enquiries and audits relating to transfer pricing matters globally.
• Cross-Functional Advisory: Providing clear, pragmatic transfer pricing advice to internal stakeholders across Business, Finance, and Product teams.

We’d love to hear from you if…

• You hold a professional qualification: Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) and/or tax advisor (CTA/ADIT or equivalent).
• You have a strong technical background in transfer pricing. Candidates making their first move directly from professional practice (Big 4 / Top 10 / specialist TP firms) are strongly encouraged to apply, as are those with existing in-house experience.
• You are Proactive, have a hands‑on mindset with the ability to operate autonomously and translate complex transfer pricing concepts for non-tax stakeholders.
