Job summary

Raymond James in Memphis is seeking an Account Transfers Assistant to support the Transfers team. You will review and approve client transfer requests to and from contra firms, call firms to check status, and verify all required legal documents accompanying client signatures.

You will maintain detailed records, reconcile accounts, and produce client communications while upholding Service 1st professionalism.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of administrative or client services experience in a professional office environment (not healthcare)
• Experience working in banking or financial services
• Experience processing documents and document management
• Strong data entry skills (at least 6000 KPH with 85% accuracy)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Reviews and approves client transfer requests to move accounts to and from contra firms
• Routinely contacts contra firms regarding transfer status
• Screens incoming/outgoing requests and verifies legal documentation
• Maintains detailed records to meet regulatory timeframes
• Reconciles client accounts
• Creates and distributes client correspondence
• Supports department productivity through meetings and training
• Handles inquiries with Service 1st professionalism
• Performs general clerical tasks (faxing, copying, filing)
• Assists other areas when volume is high or staff is low
