Primary Purpose of the Organizational Unit | In support of the mission of UNC Greensboro, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions fosters student success and cultivates exemplary student experiences through the recruitment, admission, and enrollment of traditional first-time freshmen, transfer, and nontraditional adult students. The office is responsible for identifying, cultivating, and evaluating prospective students, making admissions decisions, and positively influencing their decision to matriculate to UNCG. As a key public relations arm of the University, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions communicates the academic, programmatic, and developmental offerings of UNCG to prospective students, families, counselors, alumni, and other external partners. The office also ensures accurate academic records and upholds policies and regulations that support institutional integrity and student progress, serving all University constituents. Through these efforts, the Office of Undergraduate Admissions advances the University's enrollment goals and enhances the overall student experience. |
