Job summary

Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare seeks a Supervisor for the Transfer Center in Memphis. You will coordinate transfer activities, liaise with hospitals and service lines, and monitor patient transport to optimize throughput from intake to discharge. Strong communication and clinical thinking are essential.

You will oversee Pedi-Flite dispatch and coordinate rotor/fixed-wing transport, ensuring safety and timely action. Supervisory experience and EMS dispatch background are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health-related field required.
• Three to five years dispatch or EMS transport experience preferred.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Transfer Center activities on assigned shift, aligning with MLH philosophy and objectives.
• Serve as liaison to hospitals and service lines per policy; ensure smooth patient transport flow.
• Monitor patient transport activities across departments to support process integration and standardization.
• Provide dispatch guidance for Pedi-Flite teams and coordination of rotor/fixed-wing transports; escalate issues as needed.
