Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 years in general or specialty nursing practice.
• Current Registered Nurse License in State of Mississippi.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and Manages Patient Transfer Requests to expedite and coordinate internal and external transfers.
• Maintain Transfer Center Documentation and Compliance by accurately documenting transfers and transcriptions in the department database.
• Provide superior customer service to facilitate positive patient experiences and build collaborative relationships with hospital staff and providers.
• Perform Patient Assessment and Tr iage with proficiency in pathophysiology and trauma/stroke/STEMI protocols to determine appropriate facility and level of care.
