The Transfer Center RN Coordinator at UCI Health coordinates patient access across enterprise locations, partnering with the Capacity Command Center to ensure safe, timely transfers. You will serve as the primary contact for referring facilities and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize bed placement and patient flow.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years ICU/ED nursing, California RN license, BSN, and strong knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, EMTALA, and CDPH requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 5 years recent nursing experience in Adult ICU or Adult ED with transfer coordination focus.
• California RN license and BSN required.
• Strong knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, CDPH and EMTALA requirements.
• Proven ability to manage high-stress, time-sensitive communications with clinicians.
