Job summary

Tower Health's Reading Hospital seeks a Transfer Center Nurse to coordinate the movement and placement of patients across the health system, including transfers, direct admits, and admissions to Tower hospitals.

In collaboration with physicians and staff, you will prioritize and communicate with departments to maximize efficiency and expedite admissions and transfers, ensuring smooth patient flow and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• PA Registered Nurse License is required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Job Summary

• The Transfer Center Nurse coordinates the movement and placement of all patients within the Health System, including but not limited to transfers, direct admits, and admissions to all Tower Hospitals.
• This position works in conjunction with physicians and hospital staff to prioritize and communicate with all departments as appropriate to maximize efficiency and expedite the admission and transfer processes.
