Job summary

Voyages Behavioral Health / PAM Health is seeking a Transfer Center Nurse to provide high-quality triage and coordination of transfers from other facilities. You will review patient needs via technology and communicate acceptance or deflection promptly, collaborating with referral sources, physicians, and nurses.

This is an exempt, full-time role reporting to the Director of Assessment and Referral for Voyages. Valid LVN license required; CPI and CPR training within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Valid LVN license.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
• CPI training within 30 days of hire.
• Experience in behavioral health and substance use fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage and coordinate transfers from other facilities.
• Monitor triage needs and manage referral acceptance/deflection.
• Communicate acceptance or deflection promptly to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with referral sources, physicians, nurses, etc.
• Report to the Director of Assessment and Referral for Voyages.
